Job Description:
- Provide support for SAP PM incidents and service requests
- Provide MM/SD module incidents and service requests
- Collaborate with ABAP and Basis teams to resolve system bugs, enhancements, and performance issues
- Act as the primary point of contact for business users for all SAP PM and MM/SD-related issues
- Communicate effectively with maintenance, operations, and planning teams to understand business pain points
- Ensure timely updates, root cause analysis (RCA), and closure of tickets within defined SLAs
- Identify and propose system or process improvements to enhance maintenance efficiency Should follow the document process and adhere to IT documentation policy
- Gather and document business requirements for minor enhancements and change requests (CRs)
- Configure and test approved changes, ensuring minimal impact on business operations
- Work closely with other SAP functional teams (MM, PP, QM, FI/CO) to ensure smooth cross-module operations
- Maintain up-to-date functional documentation, configuration guides, and test scripts
- Create knowledge base articles (KBAs) for recurring issues and share best practices within the support team
- Support maintenance performance reporting (e.g., breakdown analysis, preventive maintenance compliance)
- Collaborate with BI/Analytics teams to enhance dashboards and maintenance KPIs
- Participate in regression testing, patch upgrades, and SAP version updates (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Validate the stability of PM functionality after transport movements or system refreshes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information technology Engineering
Preferred Experience:
- Preferably 5+ years of experience in supporting SAP PM Module & 2+ years relevant experience in the domain.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules will be added advantage
Job-Specific Skills:
- SAP configuration and implementation experience
- General application demand management skills
- Business knowledge in Material Management & Plant Maintenance
- General experience in IT operations and support methodologies e.g., ITIL
- Experienced in at least 2 full cycle project implementations/upgrades
