HR Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic HR Coordinator to join our team at Kuwait Steel. This pivotal role involves collaborating with essential HR functions, including onboarding, employee engagement activities, managing our careers inbox and ATS, and providing support to the Chief HR Officer and various departments within HR.

Duties to include but will not be limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive orientation sessions for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the Kuwait Steel work culture.
  • Coordinate with different departments to facilitate the setup of workstations, IT requirements, and necessary documentation for new employees.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of onboarding materials and documentation.
  • Plan and execute various employee engagement activities, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement Manager to identify and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
  • Regularly assess employee morale and gather feedback to improve engagement strategies.
  • Manage the HR careers inbox, promptly responding to inquiries and directing messages to the appropriate channels.
  • Oversee the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to streamline processes and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the Chief HR Officer and various HR departments as needed.
  • Assist in organising training programs, workshops, and other HR-related events.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.


Experience:

  • Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles.
  • Familiarity with onboarding processes and employee engagement activities.
  • Previous exposure to applicant tracking systems is advantageous.
